Full title: Henry Power, Experimental philosophy, in three books: containing new experiments, microscopical, mercurial, magnetical (London, 1664) 

Henry Power (1623–68) was one of the first elected fellows of the Royal Society and a regular correspondent of Browne. On the left-hand page of the second image in the gallery above, he makes direct mention of Browne’s work on magnetism and the properties of the lodestone. This interaction between Browne and a scientist of such high renown shows his engagement with England’s scientific community.
