'Treasure of Knowledge'

Thomas Browne and a Scientific Revolution of the 17th Century

Physician, author, natural historian, and collector, Thomas Browne (1605–82) was an extraordinary figure. Through his curious approach to the world, he contributed to an intellectual community that forged a revolution in scientific thought.
 
‘A Treasure of Knowledge’ was displayed at Winchester College Treasury between June and December 2020. 
The museum will reopen to the public on 21st June. For
